=============================================================================== Einstein believed that: "A new manner of thinking is essential if humankind is to survive". The present workshops endeavor to lay foundations of such 'new manner of thinking', or, shortly, of a new Reason. Consequently, this new 'REASON', which we call "Relativistic Dialectic (RD)" is the main workshop. Other ones are satellites dealing with its parts, sufficiently important, to be treated autonomously (eg. 'RELATIVITY', 'LOGIC',), or supplying exercises of communicating in the workshop mode (eg. 'ARCHITECTURE OF VEHICLES'). "Reason" and "rationality" are often used in a narrow meaning, confused with "logic", "inference", "deduction", "induction", etc. We shall consider "Reason" in its most general connotation (comparable to that of "Logos" stripped of its metaphysical implications) encompassing Sensations, Images and Symbols as well as such Mind faculties as Perception, Understanding and Volition in context of respective areas of Mind, or Referentials: SENSORIUM, IMAGERY and SYMBOLICS, (See REASON / MODEL OF MIND ) Consequently our concept of Reason encompasses such Mind faculties as Perception, Understanding and Volition and such domains of human Universe of Discourse as Epistemology (thus Knowledge, Science and Craftsmanship), as Aesthetics (thus Literature, Music, Painting and Art in general), as Ethics (thus Morality and Law) and, surprisingly enough, Religion (indeed we shall found and discuss below the concept of "Rational Religion", where "Rational" is taken in our broad connotation.). =============================================================================== CHILDREN: GLOSSARY REASON RELATIVITY LOGIC ARCHITECTURE OF VEHICLES DEMOCRACY SUNDRY PARENTS: ARCHIVE
